In 2012, the DesignEd Asia Conference is already in its eighth year. It provides a practical platform to bring international design educators and professionals together to share views, knowledge and experiences. Every year, it draws hundreds of international design educators, design researchers, trend analysts, practicing designers, design students, and design-related executives. There will be a 2-day programme featuring presentations, panel discussions, and paper presentations. Attendees will meet with and learn from the best in the design education, and build networks with international design professionals. 

The DesignEd Asia Conference is a key event under the program of Business of Design Week (BODW). Organised by Hong Kong Design Centre, and supported by Create Hong Kong, and HK Trade Development Council of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR, BODW is Asia's most significant international design event.
