Topic:Making the World a Better Place through User Centred Systems Innovation

In his presentation, Dr. Sood will show how user-centered approaches to design can dramatically change the most complex systems and services, thereby improving the way we provide healthcare, teach our children, offer financial services, design water and sanitation systems. Using examples of his own work with at the Center for Knowledge Societies and at the Adianta School, and the Bihar Innovation Lab, Sood will also argue that we must transform our approach to Design Education to including richer understandings of society, business and socio-technical change.
