Design in Time

Design in Time will be presented and argued from three perspectives: first, the notion of time as event rather than measure; second, the designed and designing understood in the medium of time; and, third, how think design action in the critical moment of 'now' - a moment of pressing localised global problems and challenges. The case to be made will be grounded in situated examples of action and with an exposition of the concept of ‘chronophobia’.
